The rear plastic window on your convertible top is a specialized type of clear vinyl called "pressed poly." It contains two layers of non-colored vinyl laminated together under intense pressure and heat. This material is soft and easily scratches, absorbs a wide range of gasses, U.V. rays, liquids, acids and other environmental elements. It will yellow and become brittle in time if you do not maintain it properly. UV protection added in the manufacturing process become less effective each day. RaggTopp Vinyl Protectant will restore the UV protection to the original factory level in order to maintain the look and feel of the vinyl. To use: Rinse top thoroughly to remove loose contaminants. no camera poems
I'm looking at a lot of hands lately. Yesterday I saw a dirty thick
thumb holding the pole inside the metro car. Why don't people
hitchhike anymore?
I meet three men relaxing in the park. They all incline on a hard
green park bench. Each has a scab on their face; one scab looks like a
flat raisin on the forehead, the second a squashed cockroach on the
chin, the third a mini-camel hump on the cheek near the ear. The flat
raisin man asks me how do you say "morir" in English. I tell him to
"die."
An old Senora wearing a bright sterile white dress walks down the
center of the boulevard and we walk behind her under the shadow of
tall trees. I say: "She must work at the hospital." You say: "No,
she works at the bread store, look at all the crumbs stuck in her
elbows..."
He looked at me. His bags under his eyes were heavy and blue like old
cracked clay. I could swear I even saw a child's fingerprint pressed
and fixed under a lid.
A parked police car siren whirls in the night throwing red light.
There is a mattress store down the street, its blue neon sign glows
against the highway. The two form a bond like a discotec.
I have to be careful with my thoughts. I look at her walking across
the plaza. She has a real royal gait and is carried and balanced from
her perfectly pointed nose. She moves fast, but then stops to look at
me. Her look says it all: "Don't mess with my perfect balance!"
In La Roma, Mexico City, the bald Italian guy motions me towards his car window. I peek inside and see the three Armani suits neat and clean folded over the passenger seats. “So these suits are pretty nice. I gotta let them go, gotta get rid of them, look at them, they are like new,” he snorts up one nostril, “Got a few more in the trunk, want to see?”
“Are you trying to sell them?” I ask.
“No, I’m trying to liquidate them.” He says.

Took the car to get washed today. I even cleaned out the inside and vacuumed it too! It's amazing how much mess a family of five can make on a 8-hour car trip! :)
I took before and after pics of the inside of the car thinking they would be my POTD, but I'm too embarassed to post them! :)
I feel much better now that the car is clean!
